Airport Transfers
About Transfers: Transfers are personalized car or mini-bus service with the goal of freeing up our clients from the anxiety of having to deal with local public transportation. After a long flight and fighting airport lines and crowds it is often refreshing to have someone waiting for you to take you to your destination and, if needed, back to the airport. Taxi rides and local transportation are less expensive. However taxi fares in the Azores depend on some variables such as number of bags and number of people and drivers are no more and no less ethical then any other place you visit when you don't know the language and the culture. Also in the summer months taxis are not readily available and you may find yourself waiting for hours for one to arrive. Thus consider a prepaid transfer if you wish someone to be greeting you at the airport to make sure that you will make it to your destination safe and content. We use only certified drivers. And you are not expected to tip a prepaid transfer. Please note that inf Flores island the transfer is done by the hotel mini-bus.
