Azores and Mainland Portugal Tourism
The great majority of tourists combine the Azores as an extension of traveling to mainland Portugal. Flights to Sao Miguel, Terceira, Faial and Pico are often and regular. Please note that there are no boat connections or ferries between mainland Portugal and the Azores. It takes about 2 hours on a jumbo jet to bridge the gap.
Madeira and Azores Tourism
You may also take advantage of the almost daily flights between Azores and Madeira Islands. If you are keen in visiting the two best archipelagos in the North Atlantic consider traveling to Madeira and Azores.
